About Astra Academy
Astra Academy International School was founded in 2021 as the fourth school in the Kids’ Academy group of schools, welcoming students age 5-7 and 11-13 in our first year. Teaching according to the National Curriculum of England, or the British Curriculum, Astra Academy was designed for students from Year 1 to Year 13, preparing students for iGCSE examinations in Year 10 and Year 11, and for A-level examinations in Year 12 and Year 13.
In 2020, Astra Academy took over the former Singapore International School Bangkok in Ekkamai soi 14, and immediately began renovations of the 20-year-old campus to create a futuristic environment that is both pleasant and conducive to learning. Spread out over 7 rai, Astra offers ample facilities for sports, fitness, and expressive arts, and an ideal location that allows access to more extensive facilities within convenient reach.
For nearly 20 years, the Early Years programme of Kids’ Academy has built a distinguished reputation within the Bangkok community for preparing students with the foundational skills and mindset necessary to succeed at top international schools. In 2018, Kids’ Academy inaugurated their Imagination campus, an Early Years and Primary school in the Srinagarindra area, continuing and extending the mission of helping children discover and nurture their talents and passions that would allow them to succeed in the future.
Astra Academy’s mission is to develop accomplished learners who are independently pursuing their passions with a growth mindset and understanding of the importance of wellbeing, particularly in the context of a fast-changing future world.
